Welcome!

Hello and welcome to my new blog. This is the first entry into what I hope will be another successful aspect of my photography business.

J Günther Photography provides fine art prints as its primary source of interest. I have traveled to many locations in the western US as well as Europe and Asia with the goal of taking dramatic images since starting my efforts in 2002.  As a result I have produced images that are in private collections worldwide. My work has also been featured in the Sausalito Art Festival several times in recent years.

I offer limited editions which are printed and signed by me in editions of no more than fifty. They are printed and matted using acid free archival papers and mats.  These are printed on Hahnemühle brand paper and are designed to last well over 100 years ensuring they’re archival value.

My open edition prints are offered at more economical pricing and typically unsigned.
Usually printed on the latest papers such as those offered by Fuji (Crystal archival papers) which also have typically long life spans of 60 years.

Also available is a large collection of stock images for print and web advertising.

In addition to my fine print products I offer real estate/architectural as well as small product “table top” photographic services.

It is my plan to offer tips, stories, services and feedback with this blog. Please contact me with any questions regarding these services.

The above photograph was taken near my new home in the picturesque community of Hiddenbrooke, 30 miles northeast of San Francisco. Previously I resided in Sausalito for over 25 years. My wife Pim and I are excited with our new surroundings which keeps us in the Bay Area yet offers easy access to the many diverse and beautiful areas associated with San Francisco.

Thanks for visiting and come back soon!

John Günther
