Redwoods NP Photo Workshop - another success!

More photos here
We've just completed our Redwoods NP north coast beaches photography workshop. Everyone had a great time as usual. In fact all those who attended have been prior participants multiple times, so it was definitely "old home" week with our friends. What has been most satisfying to Bill and I is the progress we have seen in everyone's skills in landscape photography.  There were definitely challenges on this trip, particularly in the weather. The area had probably the best weather they've seen in a long time. Of course we were hoping for the fog!
So as always we had a plan B and visited the harbors and beaches in the area. We saw whales, eagles, osprey, elk and even an Emu!
The BBQ's are always a great experience and of course the camaraderie!
A big THANK YOU to all!

BTW: We stayed at the Ravenwood Motel in Klamath. Although an older 50's style roadside motel  the place is impeccable. A couple of our participants brought their wives who got all excited at the decor and how clean the rooms were. The photos on the Ravenwood Motel website are very accurate and you can't beat the price!  I highly recommend it as a choice to stay if you want to be in the middle of the Redwoods National Park area.

Next up - Fall Colors in the Sierra Oct 17th - 19th 2012
$745 includes 2 nights lodging
Cheers!
John
