So how'd you get that shot? "Horsetail Falls"

At the end of February into early March - magic once again happens in Yosemite National Park.
An ephemeral waterfall shows its magnificent colors at sunset. This image was captured at sunset on Feb 24th 2006.  I did a fair amount of research in order to get it. You see, there are only certain circumstances which all must come together for this scene to happen. 1) there must be enough snow above of the face of El Capitan that will create a waterfall when it melts. 2) there must be enough warm weather to melt the snow. 3) clear weather to the west. 4) finally, late February is when the sun sets at a certain latitude to shine through the hills to the west of Yosemite and lo and behold focus' its warm light on the face of El Capitan.  I heard a photographer in the distance mention that he'd been trying for 26 years to get this shot!
And that's how I got this shot....
